Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Join the dedicated team at MultiCare Yakima and play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care across a dynamic and diverse surgical environment. As a CRNA, you'll support a robust case mix within a collaborative, medically supervised care team, serving seven ORs, a Surgi-Center, GI treatment rooms, Bronchoscopy, and Cath lab, ensuring patients receive safe and compassionate anesthesia services. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 5 night shifts per week, with some variation to accommodate your preferences, along with an all-inclusive rate that covers travel and lodging.
Required Skills
- Valid state certification/licensure as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Proven experience in anesthesia administration within a broad surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient care, and monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with robotic procedures and outpatient surgery settings
- Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia
- Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice preferred
- Prior experience supporting multi-surgical suites or outpatient centers
Other Requirements
- Ability to work rotating night shifts
- Willingness to support a care team model in a busy surgical environment
- Active state licensure and certification, with support for licensure renewal and additional travel or reimbursements as needed
