Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Our client, a growing cardiovascular clinic in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a full-time permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The successful candidate will perform advanced nuclear imaging procedures - including SPECT and PET studies - that are integral to the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular and other medical conditions. This is an on-site, direct-hire role within a collaborative, physician-led clinical environment.

• Prepare, administer, and monitor radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under physician supervision
• Perform SPECT and PET imaging studies with emphasis on cardiac applications
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct diagnostic imaging to identify and evaluate cardiovascular and other medical conditions
• Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and provide patient care throughout the imaging process
• Calculate, measure, document, and administer radiopharmaceutical doses accurately
• Perform routine quality control testing and maintain compliance with departmental, state, and federal regulations
• Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with radiation safety standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to support accreditation and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes

Must-Have

• Current certification and licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB or ARRT-N
• Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, imaging protocols, and radiation safety practices
• Experience performing nuclear imaging studies including SPECT imaging
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with PET imaging, particularly in cardiac applications
• Previous experience in a cardiology practice, cardiovascular clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting
• Familiarity with quality assurance programmes, accreditation standards, and imaging equipment maintenance
