Location: Baytown, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $51.00/hour

Schedule Options:  Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday | 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday-Monday | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

On-Call: One weekday per week and rotating weekends (required)

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a leading healthcare system in Baytown, TX. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while performing advanced nuclear medicine procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

   

• Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance

   

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images

   

• Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and educate patients on imaging procedures

   

• Start intravenous (IV) lines for radiopharmaceutical administration as required

   

• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies

   

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical record system

   

• Follow radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and quality assurance guidelines

   

• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

   

• Participate in on-call coverage and support departmental workflow as needed

   

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required

   

• PET/CT experience highly preferred

   

• Experience starting IVs required

   

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

   

• Current Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) license required

   

• Current ARRT (N) certification orCertified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required

   

• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards

   

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills

   

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
