Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Mechanical Planner III will plan and prepare mechanical work packages for the Nuclear Projects organization for large- and small-scale projects to be performed by mechanical and contract maintenance organizations to ensure that the plant projects are performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay range: $53.68 - $81.72

Responsibilities:
* Manage work activities of maintenance craft through planning, leading, and monitoring to ensure that work is executed in an efficient and safe manner.
* Manage all aspects of physical plant work, including:
* Work package preparation
* Prejob briefs
* ALARA briefings
* Clearance order walk downs
* Work prioritizing
* Resource loading and work execution
* Resolution of schedule delays and conflicts
* Prepare for scheduled and emergent work.
* Interface with planning personnel to:
* Evaluate adequacy of work instructions through paper review and physical plant walk downs
* Load resources in accordance with available manpower and qualifications
* Review schedules for adherence, including availability of test equipment and parts
* Stage the job site to ensure readiness of work completion
* Plan, lead, and monitor work to ensure execution in accordance with procedures and management expectations, including:
* Good ALARA performance
* Nuclear and personnel safety
* Proper communication and performance techniques
* Error-free, quality work
* Adherence to procedures
* Conduct routine observation and assessment of work sites to ensure problems and conditions are resolved in a timely manner to maximize work execution.
* Review work documentation prior to closeout of work packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and that work objectives have been met.
* Establish and monitor individual performance and training plans for crewmembers and provide critical feedback on a situational and periodic basis.
* Assess performance through maintenance indicators and take appropriate action to continuously improve work process efficiencies.
* Track measurable performance indicators, including:
* Human performance
* Work order backlog relative to discipline
* Daily and weekly schedule effectiveness
* Preventative maintenance backlog
* Maintenance productivity
* Dose associated with work activities
* Surveillance procedure completion
* Assure proper training of assigned personnel through observation, evaluation, and feedback of classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job training and evaluation activities.
* Provide training as a classroom instructor on a minimum of two subject matters.
* Perform periodic assignments to Training as an Instructor, as required.
* Provide emergency response organization support, as required.
* Perform collateral duties (i.e., Procedure Reviews).
