Seeking a Nuclear Geologist to support safety-related subsurface investigations for new nuclear power plants across U.S. offices.
Responsibilities include leading geologic, seismicity, slope stability, and aquifer assessments; ensuring regulatory compliance; and providing strategic scientific guidance.
Provide technical expertise, develop project scopes, interpret data, and contribute to regulatory submissions like Safety Analysis Reports.
Mentor staff, foster innovation, and ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Geology or related field, 5-7 years of experience, 3+ years supporting nuclear licensing, familiarity with NQA-1, and licensure as a Professional Geologist.
Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills are essential, with occasional travel expected. Master's degree preferred.
