Position Specific Description
Lead the Electrical team as we restart Duane Arnold Energy Center-a groundbreaking effort to return a decommissioned nuclear plant to service. As Electrical Supervisor, youll build and mentor a growing workforce while restoring and modernizing critical electrical power, distribution, and protection systems from the ground up. Your expertise in electrical systems (120 VAC/VDC to 161 kV), including switchgear, breakers, transformers, motors/drives, DC/UPS, grounding, and protective relaying, will be essential as we recommission equipment, establish maintenance programs, and ensure operational readiness for restart and long-term plant operation. This is a rare opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and leadership skills to a historic project that will define the future of nuclear energy and power Iowas clean energy transition.
Job Overview
This position ensures timely completion of plant equipment maintenance work. Employees in this role oversee predictive and preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuity of operations. Individuals guide diagnostics, corrective action, repair, replacement, testing, and calibration of plant equipment, systems and instrumentation.
