Posting Summary

The Department seeks applications for two one-year, possibly-renewable teaching positions at the rank of NTT Lecturer at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor available beginning January 1, 2026, subject to the availability of funding, with the possibility of appointment at a higher level for well-qualified candidates.

This position has a teaching load of 4-4 (four undergraduate mathematics courses in each of the fall and spring semesters), with possible teaching reductions for administrative, advising or other departmental duties. Applicants should have received a Ph.D. and show outstanding evidence of teaching at the undergraduate level. Ideally, candidates will have had at least three years teaching experience by the time the position starts.

The academic year salary for an assistant resp. associate resp. full teaching professor will not be less than $82,110 based on the most recent collective bargaining agreement between the faculty union (AAUP-AFT) and Rutgers University.
