Description
We are seeking a dynamic and high-energy professional to join the faculty and staff of the Public Health Program by serving as the MPH Coordinator at the School of Human Sciences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The successful candidate will contribute to the University's mission of excellence in teaching, advising, and related activities. This is a term, 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be hired as an Assistant Lecturer with a Masters degree or as an Assistant Professor of Practice with a Ph.D.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Master of Public Health (MPH) OR a PhD in a public health related field, and at least two years work experience in public health (academic or public setting).
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching, advising, and supervisory experience-particularly at the graduate level-as well as experience assigning, mentoring, and evaluating students in field placement settings. Familiarity with public health-related settings in the region is preferred.
