The Quality Assurance Position involves completing training on food quality, safety, and compliance with S.O.P.s, FSIS regulations, Animal Welfare, and GFSI standards. The role focuses on ensuring product meets internal and customer specifications, with responsibilities including monitoring production, calibrating equipment, performing testing, and recording results. The candidate will work alongside supervision and coworkers in live receiving, storage, picking, and evisceration areas to gain technical understanding and demonstrate knowledge through testing and observation. Additional duties include coordinating tasks, supporting safety protocols, and participating in training to develop skills.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), 1+ year manufacturing experience (preferred), ability to follow instructions, and familiarity with computers. Advanced training will be provided to enhance competencies.
