We are seeking qualified Physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to join our nationwide provider network as independent contractors. In this role, you will perform general medical disability examinations for U.S. Veterans and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) used by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This is a non‑treatment, low‑risk evaluation role focused on objective assessment, documentation, and clinical evidence review.
Conduct general medical disability examinations for Veterans.
Administer and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
Review medical and military service records to gather relevant clinical evidence.
Perform diagnostic assessments, including interviews and focused physical exams (e.g., range of motion, muscle strength testing).
Synthesize findings into clear, evidence‑based medical opinions regarding service connection.
Document results in accordance with VA/VES standards and training.
Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
2+ years of clinical practice experience (preferred).
Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Active, unrestricted state license.
Board certification (ANCC or AANP).
Collaborative/supervising physician agreement, where required.
2+ years of NP experience (5+ years preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree.
Active, unrestricted state license.
NCCPA board certification.
Collaborative/supervising physician agreement.
2+ years of PA experience (5+ years preferred).
Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, or general medicine.
Experience performing disability evaluations or functional assessments.
Strong documentation and clinical reasoning skills.
Flexible scheduling: half‑day (4 hours) or full‑day (8 hours) shifts.
No treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient management.
Low‑risk, evaluation‑only role.
Fast credentialing and onboarding — most providers start within 2–3 weeks.
Paid training provided; VA/VES certification valid for 5 years.
Comprehensive training on all DBQs and reporting requirements.
