Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatrics/Internal Medicine team in Palestine, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a diverse patient population, supporting both pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a broad range of primary care needs and building strong long-term patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Evaluate and manage acute illnesses, chronic disease conditions, and preventive care needs
  • Conduct physical exams, wellness visits, and routine screenings
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and overall wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

  • Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, PNCB, or NCCPA)
  • Previous experience in pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage patients across varying age groups
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
