Compensation: Up to $70/hr (based on experience, credentials, and placement) Tax Free travel stipends available for those that qualify

Phaxis Education is actively hiring Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. We partner with school districts nationwide to connect passionate educators with rewarding opportunities where they can make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Opportunities are available across K–12 grade levels in inclusion, resource, and self-contained classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth
• Collect data, track progress, and maintain compliant documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active CA Special Education License/Credential
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
