Now Hiring: Assistant Maintenance Technician - Farmers Branch, TX 75254
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Opportunity: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire Assignment
BG Staffing is seeking a dependable Non-Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Farmers Branch, TX 75254. This role is ideal for someone with apartment maintenance experience who can assist with work orders, repairs, and unit turns.
Responsibilities
- Complete general maintenance work orders
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
- Complete painting, patching, and minor repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain common areas, amenities, and community grounds
- Report major maintenance or HVAC concerns to the Lead Technician
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA or HVAC certification is not required
- General maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Must have basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
