NWFs Offshore Wind Energy Program
NWFs Offshore Wind Energy Program sits within the Climate & Energy Program and works to advance the responsible development of offshore wind energy off of the East Coast, West Coast, and Gulf Coast. We advocate at the federal, state, and local levels to establish and implement ambitious offshore wind commitments and to ensure stringent wildlife protections, strong labor standards, community benefits, and stakeholder engagement are in place every step of the way.
Northeast Campaign Manager, Offshore Wind Energy
The Northeast Campaign Manager, Offshore Wind Energy joins a robust team and will lead significant portions of offshore wind advocacy in the Northeast region (New England, New York, New Jersey), working with regional and state-specific coalitions. In this role, you will collaborate with others on the Offshore Wind Energy team on campaign strategy and planning, implement priority campaign activities, and cultivate new and existing partnerships. This position reports to the Senior Campaign Manager, Offshore Wind Energy.

Travel Requirements
This role requires frequent overnight travel (generally monthly depending on primary location) within the Northeast region (New England, New York, and New Jersey) associated with this role, and occasional (roughly once per quarter) travel for meetings and conferences outside of the region.
Location and Work Mode
This is a remote position based in the Northeast region, and strong preference will be given to candidates based in the Boston area. The National Wildlife Federation is committed to a flexible and empowered work environment with an authentic community of care for all staff. In this position, the employee may work in an office, in a hybrid manner, or completely remotely, to be decided jointly with their supervisor in the final stages of the interview process.
Physical Requirements of the Job
Remaining in a normal seated or standing position for extended periods (such as during car or air travel and during meetings); reaching and grasping by extending hand(s) or arm(s); dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers, for example, using a keyboard; communication skills using the spoken word; ability to see and hear within normal parameters; ability to move about the workspace. The position requires mobility, including moving materials weighing up to several pounds (such as a laptop computer or tablet).
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $72,000-80,000, commensurate with experience.
