Your role as Nordic Spa Maintenance Supervisor is critical to delivering on this promise. In this role, you are expected to exceed guest expectations by creating “picture perfect” guest experiences. You will achieve excellence by cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout your shift in addition to operating the pools, saunas, steams rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use. We commit to giving you the training, tools, support, and feedback required to be successful; achieving excellence is up to you.Key FocusesProduct Knowledge of all pools, sauna, steam rooms and spa layout, amenities and Emergency Exits. In addition to understanding various system requirements, i.e. mechanical, electrical, fixtures and equipmentCollaborating across all spa departments to support each departmental maintenance program and execute daily, weekly and monthly checklistsRepresent Alyeska Nordic Spa with the highest level of service excellence and be knowledgeable of the entire facilityPrevents minor maintenance issues from becoming major issues by promptly addressing all assigned maintenance work ordersDocuments and maintains detailed records on all physical equipment, life safety systems and items requiring regular inspectionReports/logs all maintenance issues immediately that are beyond the skill set of the employee to fix on their ownCompletes washing schedules as assigned or outlined in daily checklistsTaking and testing water samples to monitor pool water chemistry and adjusting to maintain the quality standardsChecks that the pool filtration system is in good working condition at prescribed times throughout their shiftMaintains a safe and clean pool deck; by cleaning, clearing and maintaining all outdoor walkways, pathways, and green spacesBe aware and vigilant to protect yourself, employees, guests and the property against safety hazards. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -22°ree;F to +86°ree;F. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.#P
