Non-Tenure-Eligible Cardiology Clinician-Educator

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant through full Professor.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the nuclear medicine lab
• Supporting cardiac MRI services
• Attending on the inpatient cardiology service and the ambulatory clinic

Qualified candidates must have:

• A strong background in cardiovascular medicine
• Completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program
• Board-certification in cardiology
• Preferably a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support

Candidates with an interest in Cardiovascular Critical Care may also be considered for a leadership role within the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit.

In addition to the skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students.

Salary is commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $280,000 - $310,000.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
