Position Overview

A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity is available within a growing cardiovascular program serving a suburban community setting. This role offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, along with the opportunity for a clinical academic appointment and optional teaching involvement.

The position is ideal for physicians seeking a balance between a meaningful clinical career and quality of life, supported by a strong team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology services
  • Perform inpatient cardiology consultations and contribute to critical care services
  • Interpret and perform diagnostic procedures, including:
    • Electrocardiograms (ECG)
    • Transthoracic echocardiograms
    • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
    • Cardiac nuclear studies
  • Participate in rotating weekly clinical responsibilities with other cardiologists
  • Share weekend call coverage (approximately 1:4 rotation)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team, including interventionalists, surgeons, and specialists
  • Work closely with advanced practice providers for coordinated patient care
  • Participate in teaching opportunities, if desired
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Proven experience in non-invasive cardiology practice
  • Ability to obtain or hold an unrestricted state medical license
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in non-invasive cardiology
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
