Position Overview
A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity is available within a growing cardiovascular program serving a suburban community setting. This role offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, along with the opportunity for a clinical academic appointment and optional teaching involvement.
The position is ideal for physicians seeking a balance between a meaningful clinical career and quality of life, supported by a strong team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology services
- Perform inpatient cardiology consultations and contribute to critical care services
- Interpret and perform diagnostic procedures, including:
- Electrocardiograms (ECG)
- Transthoracic echocardiograms
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardiac nuclear studies
- Participate in rotating weekly clinical responsibilities with other cardiologists
- Share weekend call coverage (approximately 1:4 rotation)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team, including interventionalists, surgeons, and specialists
- Work closely with advanced practice providers for coordinated patient care
- Participate in teaching opportunities, if desired
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Proven experience in non-invasive cardiology practice
- Ability to obtain or hold an unrestricted state medical license
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in non-invasive cardiology
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
