Position Overview
A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity is available within a well-established cardiology group serving a regional community. This role offers the chance to join a collaborative team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers in a full-service cardiovascular program with access to comprehensive diagnostic services.
The position supports both outpatient and inpatient care, with a strong emphasis on coordinated, patient-centered treatment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform and interpret a range of cardiac diagnostic procedures, including:
- Echocardiography (including 3D)
- Stress echocardiography
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Vascular imaging
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice providers
- Participate in coordinated care across multiple clinical locations as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of:
- Internal Medicine residency
- Cardiovascular Disease fellowship with a non-invasive focus
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state medical license
- DEA certification
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
