Position Overview
Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVICFL) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultative care across affiliated hospitals and ambulatory surgery center settings.

Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • Stress testing
  • Cardiac consultations and medication management
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
  • Growth opportunity with advanced PET/CT imaging services

The incoming physician will provide non-invasive cardiovascular services across local clinics, affiliated hospitals, and our new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) while collaborating closely with APPs, cardiologists, medical assistants, and administrative teams.

Clinical support includes weekday and weekend APP coverage with shared general cardiology call responsibilities among physicians.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, productivity bonus structure, additional incentives, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
  • Echo and Nuclear certifications preferred
  • Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
  • Eligible for H-1B and J1 physician waiver sponsorship
