Job Title:
NOC Lead Engineer (Network Operations Center)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an experienced NOC Lead Engineer to oversee network operations, lead a team of engineers, and ensure timely resolution of network issues. The role involves supervising daily NOC activities, improving processes, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor L1 and L2 NOC Engineers
  • Oversee response to network alerts and hardware malfunctions
  • Ensure timely diagnosis and troubleshooting of network errors
  • Track and document network issues; compile and review incident reports
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
  • Lead and coordinate bridge calls for P1/P2 issues
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network operations
  • Ensure continuous improvement of network monitoring and incident response processes
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
  • Extensive experience working as a NOC Engineer
  • Proven leadership experience in a Network Operations Center or similar environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and devices such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, VPN, and access points
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Good to have: CCNA, JNCIA, CISSP, or relevant certifications
