Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will establish policies to create and maintain a safe workplace and ensure company-wide compliance with those policies. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to educate a varied workforce on the importance of safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Follow legal guidelines to create and execute health and safety plans
  • Enforce health and safety policies within the workplace
  • Evaluate existing practices to assess their risk and adherence to the law, revise as necessary
  • Conduct company-wide trainings and presentations to educate employees on accident prevention and other health and safety concerns
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Inspect equipment and workspaces to identify potentially unsafe conditions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field is preferred
  • Be able to work 6:00pm to 6:00am
  • Previous experience as a Safety manager is preferred
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write policies and reports
  • Understanding of risk assessment and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable giving presentations in large groups
