Description:

As directed by the Head Custodian at this location, supervise the night shift custodial staff to maintain a clean and safe learning environment, exercising prudent cost control measures in cooperation with the school administration and district management. Report deficiencies requiring maintenance on the premises. Assign tasks and give direction to staff. Oversee daily custodial duties of assigned staff and be able to evaluate. Assist in hiring and training custodial personnel. Understanding of building safety and operations of Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems, Heating and Water, Burglar Alarm, and Building Management Systems is preferred. Supervise, coordinate and schedule setups and breakdowns. Oversee snow removal around the building as directed by the Head Custodian or designee. Respond to emergency calls as needed.

Qualifications:

Black Seal license required.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Custodial experience is required, especially in a school setting and ability to effectively communicate to others both orally and in writing.

Hours:

3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

2026 2027 Terms of Employment:

Base Salary: $58,000

Employment Period: Twelve (12) Months

Union Affiliation: SBHCCF
