What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.
- Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged components and recommend necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot engine fault codes using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Help maintain a safe, efficient fleet that keeps our operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably working on heavy construction equipment.
- Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A dependable team player who takes pride in quality workmanship and continuous learning.
