Duties: Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to ensure the classrooms, offices, and common areas are in good order on a year-round basis. Part-time evening hours Monday - Friday. Under 27 hours per week. Individual must be able to positively interact with constituents (student, faculty, and staff); assist with other duties within the maintenance and operations department as necessary and as needed; must be self-motivated, able to make assessments on the fly with little supervision.
Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred with specific knowledge in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Specific Skills: • Individual must be self-sufficient • Responsible • Reliable • Thorough • Take pride in their work May require lifting items in excess of 50 pounds.
Salary Range: Classified Pay Schedule Range 12: $15.44 to $16.38 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
