Job Summary and Qualifications

As a NICU Transition RN, you will be responsible for stabilizing newborns in the delivery room and guides their initial adaptation to life outside the womb.  They perform rapid assessments, assist with infant resuscitation, and manage critical care in the baby's first hours before transferring them to ongoing care.  

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse - clear and active SC or compact state nursing license is required 
  • Associate Degree/Bachelors Degree in nursing required 
  • Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Prior Neonatal or Pediatric Critical Care Nursing experience is required
