What Youll Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience with a focus on delivery attendance
- Proven expertise in managing ventilators, central lines, and neonatal procedures
- Strong skills in IV placements, blood draws, medication administration, and neonatal emergency procedures
- Compassion, empathy, excellent communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to float within NICU and newborn nursery units
- Cardiac life support certifications (BLS & NRP)
Nice to Have:
- Epic electronic medical records experience
- Experience with PICC, UAC, UVC placements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience with complex neonatal protocols and procedures
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Extensive NICU experience in a Level III nursery
- Comfortable working night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Other Requirements:
- Valid BLS & NRP certifications
- Ability to float to NOU and other related units as needed
- Willingness to work every other weekend, holidays, and participate in self-scheduling
