Join the NIAR MRO team as a Project Manager!
In this full‑time role, you’ll lead aircraft maintenance projects from start to finish—coordinating schedules, guiding workflow, communicating with customers, and ensuring on‑time, high‑quality delivery. You’ll help keep projects on budget, support daily operations, and drive overall program success in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Job Summary

Manages assigned project(s) to meet department objectives.

Essential Functions

Serves as point-of-contact in daily communications, coordinating, and follow-up for items such as preliminary invoices, progress updates, customer approval and debrief on work packages, and warranty issues. Performs program management duties for aircraft to include identification of potential risks and management of constraints. Executes and maintains schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up. Monitors and oversees workflow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget, including shop floor efficiency. Ensures that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station / Quality Manual, Site Operating Procedures and other regulatory requirements. Facilitate status meetings; updates daily reports on status of aircraft Assists and coordinates special programs as needed Produces maintenance and other employee reports as assigned Responsible for meeting or exceeding facility financial objectives on all projects

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Five (5) years of related similar experience; or equivalent combination of related experience and education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance inspection programs
Demonstrated interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments.
Customer service skills necessary to modify communication, tone, and presentation to defuse crisis situations with internal and external customers and maintain mutually beneficial customer relations.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting.
Computer skills necessary to learn and / or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, project, email and web-based applications as well as operating systems used to manage the maintenance work.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
