We are seeking an immediate opening for a Part-time News Producer to handle daily newscast production.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors to determine content, manage the flow of broadcasts, write stories, and develop web content.
Ideal candidates will have strong news judgment, compelling writing skills, multitasking abilities, and experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Required skills include leadership, communication, flexibility, problem-solving, and proficiency with newsroom systems like iNews and non-linear editing tools such as Avid.
Experience in news production at a commercial TV station is preferred; journalism degree is a plus.
