New Model Parts Quality Supplier Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supplier part development and tooling readiness throughout the new model lifecycle
• Track supplier progress, identify risks, and resolve delays impacting production timelines
• Review and manage quality documentation (QANs), ensuring compliance and driving corrective actions
• Perform part inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
• Identify quality issues and implement effective countermeasures
• Lead New Model Reviews (NMRs) to confirm all parts are production-ready
• Provide regular updates, analysis, and recommendations to leadership on quality status and risks
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Assembly, and Supplier teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with OEM suppliers

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment & Requirements

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations
• Flexible schedule (including occasional off-shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed)
• Onsite collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Timmonsville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
