St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams while collaborating closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care.

Position Overview
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using specialized equipment, ensuring quality and accuracy while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout the exam process.
Essential Functions
Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions
Verify patient identification and orders, and prepare patients for imaging procedures
Perform exams according to established protocols and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
Complete studies efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and quality
Assist with training and mentoring students and fellow technologists on procedures, positioning, and equipment
Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address patient concerns
Follow infection control protocols and sterile techniques as appropriate
Operate imaging equipment and related information systems effectively
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and any adverse reactions
Follow established protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, and quality control
Report equipment issues and ensure compliance with departmental standards
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques
Image evaluation and quality assessment
Proficient in equipment operation and electronic imaging systems
Understanding of contrast protocols
Ability to respond effectively in emergent situations
Strong independent work ethic with a collaborative team mindset
Clear and professional communication skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and patient-centered environment
Minimum Qualifications
ARRT (R) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
