Timmons Group is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Civil Project Engineer I candidate for our Charlotte, NC office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design project components using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other industry‑standard software.Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilize computers to solve problems.Research and prepare material specifications, installation guidelines, and inspection protocols.Work to complete design details and plan sets.Complete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff.Collaborate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff.Contribute to cost estimates and technical reports that drive project success.Skills and Requirements A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, with coursework in land development and/or water resources preferred.EIT preferred.Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.MicroStation preferred for transportation position.We are looking for high energy, creative, flexible, patient, self‑starters who are willing to work at a dynamic pace.
