The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is adding a New England Wetlands Specialist to support wetland delineation, permitting, and natural resources projects throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
The successful candidate will support utility, renewable energy, transmission, and infrastructure projects by conducting wetland delineations, stream assessments, natural resource surveys, and environmental permitting activities. This position is ideal for a field-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in wetland science, regulatory permitting, and environmental compliance throughout New England.
Experience supporting utility companies and renewable energy projects in Massachusetts and Maine is highly desirable.
Location: Flexible within New England (Remote or Hybrid)

Essential Job Functions:
Wetland Delineation & Field Investigations
Environmental Permitting
Prepare and support permit applications for federal, state, and local environmental review.
Assist with development of permit packages addressing wetland impacts, resource evaluations, and environmental documentation.
Support projects requiring coordination with:
Local Conservation Commissions
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
State environmental agencies throughout New England
Identify permitting requirements associated with wetland and stream impacts.
Support environmental permitting for utility, transmission, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
Technical Support & Client Coordination

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $80,000-$120,000 yearly
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
