The High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) team within the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) drives modern development of vertically integrated DRAM and logic technologies, enabling industry-leading solutions for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.

As a Design Validation Product Engineer, this role supports the development of next-generation HBM products from early design through qualification and volume manufacturing. The position works closely with Design, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure robust product performance and reliability through thorough validation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Understand JEDEC specifications for HBM and contribute to internal architecture documents, schematics, and layout reviews.
• Perform silicon validation, including hardware and software debugging, circuit simulations, and data analysis.
• Conduct lab-based investigations to resolve design or performance issues.
• Collaborate closely with Product Engineering peers and multi-functional partners to ensure product readiness and performance alignment.
• Applying creative approaches to make positive change.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in schematic review, simulation, data analysis, lab debug, or pattern manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to use time efficiently and work productively.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework in VLSI, semiconductor processes, Python, or C/C++.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Self-motivation and passion for technical growth.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
