You'll have direct access to ownership every single day, with leadership that is genuinely invested in your success and the success of every team member.

Our results speak for themselves:

  • Columbus CEO Magazine 2026 Top Workplace — for the fifth year
  • Highest Google rating among all Chevrolet dealers in Columbus — earned through an unwavering commitment to the customer experience

This is a rare opportunity to lead in a high-performing, people-first environment where your contributions are recognized, your voice is heard, and ownership is in your corner every step of the way.

Position Overview

The New Car Sales Manager leads and inspires our sales team to deliver a world-class customer experience while driving strong departmental performance. Reporting directly to ownership, this role is responsible for all aspects of new vehicle sales — from team leadership and goal-setting to inventory management, F&I performance, and customer satisfaction. The right candidate brings energy, accountability, and a genuine passion for both people and results.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a high-caliber automotive professional who:

  • Consistently delivers a world-class customer experience — from first contact through delivery and follow-up
  • Provides strong, engaged, and hands-on leadership that motivates and develops a high-performing sales team
  • Brings proven F&I experience and actively works to maximize F&I penetration and gross
  • Communicates effectively at all levels — with customers, team members, and ownership
  • Thrives in a family-owned culture where relationships, integrity, and accountability matter
  • Has a track record of meeting and exceeding sales and gross objectives

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees
  • Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times
  • Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives, and provide the support needed to achieve them
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings to align the team and maintain momentum
  • Provide ongoing product knowledge and sales training resources on a regular and continuous basis
  • Helps salespeople close deals when necessary, modeling best practices in real time

Customer Experience & Delivery Standards

  • Maintain teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery, and follow-up process
  • Establish and maintain high standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers
  • Oversee salespeople's efforts to enhance dealership image and customer satisfaction ratings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a follow-up system for new-vehicle purchasers
  • Schedule the first service appointment at the time of vehicle delivery

Sales Performance & F&I

  • Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system
  • Work with salespeople on programs that increase new-car gross and F&I penetration
  • Develop incentive programs in collaboration with ownership and fellow managers
  • Complete deal settlement sheets and submit to the accounting office promptly
  • Process salesperson commission sheets and monitor payroll records

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Review inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of grounded stock for maximum turnover efficiency
  • Recommend new-car inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment, based on customer and market analyses
  • Direct merchandising and advertising efforts for the new-vehicle department in conjunction with the sales team and ownership

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including performance-based incentives, health benefits, and a culture where your work is valued by the people who own the business. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
