What You'll Get To Do:
Responsible for new product and business development, creating solutions that align with customer needs, market trends, and industry demands. Working closely with Account Sales Managers, identifies and develops new business opportunities for the Business Division, driving growth and expanding market presence. The team’s objective is to generate and sustain more than $100 million in annual global sales for the Business Division.
FACTORY LIAISON:
- Establish strong relationship with each BU.
- Maintain clear and constant communication and operate with both the BU side and customer side and work to bridge both side for better product development.
INITIATE MARKET RESEARCH:
- Collect major/emerging market information such as Data Center/Humanoid and beyond.
- Share with related Business Unit(BU) in Japan in order to help BU to create new product with deep understanding of the core technologies of each BU by working with customers thru account sales managers.
- Understand the advantages/disadvantages of our technology within the market and for the specific customer application.
PRODUCT STRATEGY:
- Assist in the development of the strategic product business plans to successfully meet company’s sales and profit goals.
- Work closely with Sales function and the BU to implement a product specific plan taking into consideration the market and BU objectives.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: Responsible for the below objectives;
- Initiate new projects by working with customers and conducting market research to find potential ideas.
- Create detailed project management plans and other project documentation to convince executive staff for greater resource allocation.
- Manage diverse teams that might include local members, interns (if available) and Japanese sales and engineering members working together to achieve the set goal.
- Define the project’s scope, revenue estimates and assign, prioritize, and supervise project tasks.
- Establish communication with the key members both internally and externally to guarantee the maintenance of business relationships with customers.
- Coordinate the team throughout all project management phases by confirming that all team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively.
- Monitor the project’s timeline and milestones ensuring project meets deadlines aligns with customer’s schedule.
- Lead weekly meetings both internal and external to track progress and manage changes as necessary.
- Provide weekly updates on project status and market conditions to involved members.
- Track project performance using appropriate KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques, as well as identify, prevent, and manage risks.
- Submit dev kit/demos and ensure they adhere to quality standards for customer testing.
- Perform any other relevant, project-related duties when needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- A four-year college degree in a business management or technical discipline with a Master’s degree in Business/Engineering is preferred.
- Eight or more years of product/industry specific technical or sales experience is required.
- Ability to work in complex organization with many points of contact.
- Ability to travel as required by the position.
COMMUNICATIONS: (key communications contacts and level of persuasion required)
- Strong written, negotiation, and inter-cultural communication capabilities and presentation skills
- High-level negotiation with factory managers required.

The wage range of $130,000 - $150,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
