What You’ll Do
- Conduct inpatient neurosurgery patient rounds alongside residents
- Review patient plans, orders, and discharge paperwork
- Manage patient care, including removing drains (hemovac, JP drains preferred)
- Collaborate with the neurosurgery team to provide high-quality care
- Ensure timely updates and documentation in Epic electronic medical records
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
- Support patient follow-up and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
What You Need
Required:- Current, valid Massachusetts State License
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery
- At least 1 year of neuro-specific experience
- Ability to remove drains (preferred)
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
Preferred:- Experience working in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
