The successful candidate recruits and develops a diverse, high-performing team to exceed sales goals within an assigned region while managing key projects and collaborating with commercial cross-functional teams. They provide strategic direction, field coaching, and develop specialty pharmacy fulfillment access strategies. The position requires excellent relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders, impactful communication skills, and the ability to execute successful sales meetings while guiding the team toward effective solutions.This territory includes Portland, OR | Salem, OR | Tacoma, WA | Olympia WA. We are open to a Regional Specialty Manager that is located in any of these regions.Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)Leadership & Talent ManagementLead regional sales team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talentProvide strategic direction and performance coaching to achieve team excellenceSupport team development and ensure proper onboarding of new team membersSales Strategy & ExecutionDrive regional implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectivesDevelop targeted strategies for psychiatric and neurological marketsIdentify regional opportunities and remove barriers to team successFoster innovative sales approaches and best practicesPerformance ManagementAnalyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisionsHold team accountable for execution of sales strategies and meeting objectivesConsistently spends time with each account specialist in the field to observe and coach performanceProvide regular performance feedback and development opportunitiesBusiness OperationsManage regional budgets and expenses effectivelyEnsure compliance with Neurocrine policies, FDA guidelines, and industry standardsMaintain open communication between field teams and headquartersStakeholder EngagementIs a known entity with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals within their RegionDevelop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionalsEngage with local professional and patient advocacy groupsCoordinate with pharmacies and payers to optimize market accessCross-Functional CollaborationAlign with marketing, training, sales operations and other departmentsRequirementsBS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals industry, including 3+ years of first-line sales management experience typically acquired through progressively responsible sales roles. Demonstrated track record of successfully building ORMaster's degree preferred AND 6+ years of experience as show above. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position is eligible participate in the Company's quarterly incentive compensation plan, which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on individual performance results.
