Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology ENDT or similar education is preferred. Experience in area of specialty or applicable health care experience is preferred. Working knowledge of neuroanatomy physiology basic electronics and electrical safety general knowledge of electroencephalography EEG and evoked potentials EP instrumentation pattern recognition and various medical and pharmacological conditions is required. Completion of department approved training program is required. Required credentials of one or more of the followings Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist REEGT Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist REPT Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist CNCT or Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologists R.NCS.T. Basic Life Support BLS certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
