About the Clinician's WorkdayThe neurocritical care physician will provide inpatient coverage in a closed Neuro ICU, managing a daily census of 10-18 adult patients and performing 2-3 admissions per day. Responsibilities include rounding and admissions within the Neuro ICU, along with required procedures and code response limited to the Neuro ICU. Day and night shift coverage is available, with shifts running 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM; no call is required outside of the worked shift. Board certification in Neurocritical Care is required, and candidates must hold an active Georgia medical license or be IMLC eligible.
