We are seeking a skilled and reliable Network Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring stable and secure connectivity across the organisation, supporting both on-site and remote users.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with networking hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of network protocols and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues
  • Assist in network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure projects
  • Configure and manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory
  • Support network security measures, including firewalls and access controls
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and deployment
  • Provide technical support to users related to network issues

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Networking, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4+ years of experience in network support or administration
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, etc.)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostics
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
