Network / System Engineer III

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Network/System Engineer III. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing an advanced, automated server-build environment. This role requires deep expertise in Windows Server OS components, automation, and modern DevOps tooling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 years experience with Windows Server 2022/2025
• Proficiency in PowerShell development (5 years)
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Chocolatey (2 years)
• Strong knowledge of Ansible (4 years) and Terraform (2 years)
• Familiarity with GIT, Artifactory, and Client Azure
• Prior work experience in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with automation for large-scale cloud deployments
• Knowledge of Client vRealize
• Linux scripting (bash/python) and API development with tools like Swagger WebAPI

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop a next-generation, highly automated server-build environment
• Leverage HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines for image creation and deployment
• Work independently and in distributed teams to gather requirements and design new service offerings
• Document solutions and transition them to operational support
