Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Network Security Engineer – Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA, Zero Trust)  for their St. Louis, MO/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Zscaler security solutions, ensuring optimal configuration and integration with enterprise environments.
  • Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Zscaler policies, including security and access policies, to enforce the organisation's security requirements.
  • Create, update, and optimise PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) files for efficient and secure internet traffic routing.
  • Configure and manage application profiles and forwarding profiles to support business applications and ensure secure connectivity.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Zscaler and network security technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
 
Requirements:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Professional, CCNP Security) are an added advantage.
  • Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Zscalar
  • Zero Trust security, Network Configuration, Zscaler Web Security
  • Proxy Implemenation(1), Identity Aware Proxy (IAP)(1), Reverse Proxy Tools(1)
  • Proven experience in deploying and managing Zscaler solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Zscaler policies, configurations, PAC files, application profiles, and forwarding profiles.
  • Solid foundation in general network security concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
