Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician
Location: Silver Spring, MD (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract with Possible Extension

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure in a fast-paced operational environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco networking, SolarWinds monitoring, and ServiceNow or other ticketing systems, along with strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities. This role requires a U.S. Citizen who can obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 3 years of Network Operations Center (NOC) experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Experience using SolarWinds for network monitoring and alert management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or another IT ticketing system.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco CCNA certification.
  • CompTIA certification (Network+, Security+, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, routing, switching, protocols, and network security principles.
