Job Summary:
Seeking a Network Lab Automation Engineer responsible for implementing and managing lab automation, specifically using the Spirent Velocity platform. The role involves designing secure network environments, developing automation scripts, and maintaining a VMware ESXi environment. Candidates should be adept at solving problems proactively, ensuring system security, and providing user support and training.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage lab automation using Spirent Velocity.
- Design and architect secure network environments for the lab.
- Develop automation scripts to meet user requirements.
- Build, monitor, and maintain VMware environments and lab network systems.
- Provide training and support to users on various lab systems and tools.
Must-Have Skills:- Advanced Network Troubleshooting
- Proficiency in VMWare and Virtual Machine Management
- Strong Scripting Abilities in Python
Preferred Domain Experience:
Experience in a network support or engineering lab environment is preferred. Familiarity with network testing tools (TCP Replay, IXIA, Spirent) and knowledge in VMware networking are advantageous.
