Rate: $65-$69/hour W2

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Network Implementation Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for delivering enterprise network access control implementations. This role combines the responsibilities of both an Implementation Engineer and Release Manager, requiring someone who can successfully plan, coordinate, execute, and document network changes from end to end.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Aruba ClearPass solutions within large enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Implementation Engineer or Network Engineer in enterprise environments.

• Proven experience leading and executing network implementation projects.

• Hands-on experience with both:

• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) (Required)

• Aruba ClearPass (Required)

• Strong understanding of AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.

• Experience coordinating and managing production releases, change windows, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and post-implementation validation.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple implementation timelines simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Willingness to participate in weekend and after-hours implementation windows.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise network implementation projects from planning through production deployment.
• Serve as both the Implementation Engineer and Release Manager for assigned initiatives.
• Develop implementation plans, change documentation, validation procedures, and rollback plans.
• Execute network access control deployments using Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass.
• Coordinate implementation activities across infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Manage production changes during scheduled maintenance windows.
• Validate successful deployments and troubleshoot implementation issues as needed.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project status meetings.
• Ensure implementations are completed on schedule with minimal business disruption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging automation for network implementations.
• Exposure to Python scripting or working alongside network automation teams.
• Experience supporting large enterprise or retail environments with strict production change controls.

Project Experience PreferredCandidates should have experience with one or more of the following:

• Enterprise Cisco ISE implementations
• Aruba ClearPass deployments
• NAC migrations and enhancements
• Authentication and authorization infrastructure upgrades
• Network security implementations
• Large-scale enterprise change management
• Multi-site production network deployments
