Network Engineer/Support Engineer
Duration: Long Term Contract 12 - 24 months
Visa: Usc, Gc, GcEad
Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite 3 days remote in Paramus NJ or Milwaukee WI.
3 days a week traveling to site locations across US. The Network Engineer will be part of amulti-year project to standardize remote sites. The Network Engineer will be responsible for traveling to sites to perform evaluations related to infrastructure. The Network Engineer will design solutions and work with the site to schedule the installation of equipment and configurations. The candidate must have in-depth, hands-on technical skills ranging from: firewalls, routers and switches, virtualization technologies, security frameworks with extensive experience configuring and managing software and hardware related to LANs and WANs. Travel 50% of the time in the US and some Canadian sites.
Primary Focus: Evaluating Network in client's offices and plants, creating a solutions, installation and troubleshooting for each of the following areas:
- Mapping Network
- Remote Access for Employees and Vendors
- Firewall Offices and Plants
- Backup
Education/Certifications:
- BS/BA degree or comparable experience
- Cisco CCNA at a minimum, CCNP ITIL Foundation certified
Work Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in IT network infrastructure in a large scale enterprise with hands-on networking experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with network administration
- Must be able to understand internal/external customer perspectives when executing project and operational responsibilities
- Experience with supporting remote office environments
- Experience with leading infrastructure projects (network, storage, etc.)
