Seeking a Network Engineer responsible for documenting and supporting the deployment of new network platforms in production and lab data centers.
Maintains and administers networks, systems software, hardware, and configurations, collaborating with internal and external teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Ensures data, software, and hardware security by planning and implementing network security measures.
Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network issues while monitoring performance for optimization.
Skills include expertise in open source technologies and inter-networking protocols such as IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, MPLS, VPNs, L2/L3 switching, VxLAN, EVPN, NAT, and firewalls.
Extensive experience with OpenStack, Linux system administration, SDN/NFV concepts, and traffic generators like Spirent and IXIA is required.
Knowledge of SD-WAN, Palo Alto/ASA firewalls, Cisco VIM, and ESC is a plus.
Candidate should be proficient with network device troubleshooting and capable of learning new technologies quickly.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible, scripting in Python, and RESTful APIs is essential.
Must hold a 4-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or electronics.
