Manage Cato network devices and Extreme switches APs
Design configure and deploy Extreme Networks solutions across enterprise environments
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Extreme Networks switches routers wireless access points and management platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and deliver scalable solutions
Lead network upgrades migrations and integration projects
Develop and maintain documentation including network diagrams configuration standards and operational procedures
Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and proactive monitoring
Stay updated with the latest Extreme Networks technologies firmware updates and best practices
Train and mentor junior network engineers and support staff
Interface with Extreme Networks support and account teams for escalations and strategic planning
Required Skills Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hand-on experience in configuring Cato network devices and Extreme switches APs
Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking VLANs STP OSPF BGP QoS and multicast
Experience with Extreme Management Center XMC Fabric Connect and ExtremeCloud IQ
Certifications such as Extreme Certified Specialist ECS or Extreme Certified Expert ECE are highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments
Familiarity with network automation and scripting Python Ansible
Knowledge of network security principles and integration with firewalls and NAC solutions
