Position Overview

Endurance IT Services is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer<\/b> to design, implement, and support enterprise network security environments that protect business -critical systems for a client on the peninsula. This role focuses on network security architecture, threat prevention, firewall administration, secure connectivity, and infrastructure protection<\/b>, working closely with networking, server, and cloud teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h2>

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network security solutions<\/b> across on -premises and hybrid environments
  <\/li>
• Manage and optimize firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access control technologies<\/b>
  <\/li>
• Administer and monitor secure network connectivity<\/b> and perimeter defense systems
  <\/li>
• Perform security upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of security infrastructure
  <\/li>
• Monitor network security performance, availability, and threat activity
  <\/li>
• Troubleshoot complex network security incidents and infrastructure issues across environments
  <\/li>
• Implement and support security controls that align with business continuity and disaster recovery requirements
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with server, cloud, and networking teams on infrastructure and security projects
  <\/li>
• Document security configurations, procedures, policies, and network security architecture
  <\/li>
• Support on -premises, hybrid, and cloud -integrated security environments
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Required Qualifications
  <\/h2>

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network security infrastructure<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Strong experience with enterprise firewall platforms and network security technologies (VMware)<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Hands -on experience with network segmentation, VPN technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Solid understanding of network security concepts<\/b>, including access control, threat mitigation, encryption, and secure communications
    <\/li>
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with security monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools

  • Ability to work independently and in cross -functional teams
