We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco ACI, Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA), Palo Alto Firewalls, Wireless Networking, and Enterprise Routing & Switching. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting complex Layer 3 (L3) network issues in a 24x7 production manufacturing environment.

This is a Day 1 onsite role requiring support for production operations, incident management, infrastructure changes, and proactive network optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex P1/P2 network incidents using packet capture and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA Fabric environments.
  • Administer and support Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy management, security rule updates, VPN configuration, and Panorama integration.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and enterprise wireless networks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot IPSec VPN connectivity between enterprise sites and remote users.
  • Support routing and switching infrastructure using Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
  • Perform production network changes, upgrades, software patching, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Investigate recurring network issues and implement preventive solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve production issues.
  • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers on advanced networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain network documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
  • Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and/or Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA).
  • Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Wireless (WLC) technologies.
  • Experience configuring and supporting IPSec VPN solutions.
  • Strong routing and switching expertise including:
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • Cisco Nexus
    • Cisco Catalyst/Stack Switches
  • Advanced Layer 3 (L3) troubleshooting experience.
  • Expertise in packet capture and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
  • Experience handling critical P1/P2 production incidents.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
  • Experience in manufacturing or factory network environments.
  • Familiarity with network automation using Python or Ansible.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
